How You Can Help!

DONATIONS/TAX WRITE-OFFS/NEEDS FOR THE CENTER

In order to function effectively and have our essential horse partners feel their best for the healing that they provide, we would love it if you could help us with some of the monthly costs & donate if you can toward tools to help our center grow and reach more people.

We will always welcome your generosity to donate physical goods instead of giving monetarily to our non-profit - we just ask that you give a quick call or message us before donating to ensure we haven't recently had it donated! We try our best to update as soon as something is received, but sometimes it doesn't happen right away.   Your giving makes this center run much more efficiently, and every bit truly helps!  Here are some items that are always welcomed that you could purchase online, at a feed store, or contact us for where to get the specific item from.
Wild Hearts & Horses is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization - EIN Tax ID# 99-1018659. Your donations are tax deductible by federal law.

For the horses: (((please get with us before donating anything)))

  • Hay - We spend between $400- $600 a month on hay

  • Horse feed (we feed only a select few) - We spend about $100 a month on feed. There are some feeds we order from Chewy.com, however they do not let you share a wish list like Amazon does.  If you'd like to help out with feed, please contact us!

  • Electrolytes/Salt & mineral supplement

  • Supplements (2 mares are on special supplements, and Pixie's currently costs about $250 monthly)

  • Chiropractic/Bodywork Sessions - our mares are aging and they require more care for their bodies than they used to.  To be feeling their best in order to help others, sessions from the chiropractor or equine bodyworker are needed on a regular basis.  These costs can range from $90.00 a horse to $200.00 (due to traveling expenses).  If you feel led to help sponsor this, it would be a most appreciated gift! We want these partners of ours feeling their best for years to come.

  • Dewormer (we use herbal)

  • Fly Spray (CRUCIAL during the summer and any and all are welcome!!!)

  • Fly Masks (they get torn up so easily)

  • Fly Boots

  • Treats (carrots or baked horse treats in bags)

  • Grooming supplies (brushes, hoof picks, individual caddies for each horse)
